
It will download new components from and then restart itself. You should see the KeyAccess splash screen, and also a notification that you should check for updates. If KeyAccess has been installed or modified, you will get a prompt to reboot at your convenience. Then it will install Stata/SE with a Dartmouth license key no further registration is needed. This installer will install or update, as needed, the KeyAccess client. This is a Dartmouth-customized installer for both Stata 17 and KeyAccess. Older versions of the installer are still recognized by the KeyServer, and available on the Stata downloads page.

If not on campus, you will need to establish a VPN connection. This application is KeyServed and requires KeyAccess be installed on your computer, as well as a connection to the Dartmouth network each time you run Stata.
